And still on this: "Ferrari can only blame themselves for not seeing the loophole". Ferrari very likely saw the loophole but they were never going to risk it after what happened in 2019. That's a huge issue here, some teams get punished for going for loopholes, others don't
If the FIA thinks that Mercedes engine is illegal, Mercedes and their client teams can't race. I don't care if they have to miss 7 races or a whole season. That's their fault. It's not the fault of Ferrari and others who will be the ones to suffer the consequences if that engine is allowed. 2/2

It is incredibly frustrating watching a narrative being built around a wdc being won because a driver is kind and open when those are the same things Charles has been attacked for his entire career, especially in 2022 when Ferrari fumbled his title, but it was blamed on his emotions instead

Leclerc’s real heroism is not being a Monagasque Verstappen, not being the prodigy for whom everyone else falls in line but instead being the most earnest, empirically self-critical, encyclopedia definition of ‘team player.’ Ferrari is, for its own separate reasons, the best place to be this guy.

I've ran out of fucks to give about this F1 season, especially when on the same day, freaking Sébastien Ogier won every point possible in the Japan Rally. He is now 3 points from Evans, the leader in the WDC, and there is one rally remaining
