Exactly. You control the vehicle, it doesn't control you. It encourages mobile phone use, too. The number of times I've seen cars all over the fucking lane, only to see them happily texting away. Your car can't see a cyclist or pedestrian or animal ffs.

I might sound like a codger, but features like automatic lane-correction don't help, either. You should be looking at the fucking road and concentrating when operating a potentially lethal weapon 😑

Totally agree. People are so blasé about speed restrictions these days, and see a limit as a target rather than a *limit*. There are many roads on which the limit is the NSL, on which I wouldn't dream of driving at 60mph because it simply isn't safe. Ever more powerful cars aren't helping.

When you keep chickens and need something to stick on to go down to their run and sort them out without getting all chicken shit on your feet, they're ideal. Do I wear them publicly? Absolutely not.

Not great, sadly. Had hoped for a bit more relief. It's less bad at rest, but I really wanted to be able to walk more without needing to stop and being tired because of it. Aah well, surgery it is xx
