Spotify wrapped is really reminding me I need to switch... last I looked Tidal seemed like the best recommendation for streaming in terms of catalogue, quality and artist share. Any opinions on that?

I try to also support artists as much as possible in other ways but Spotify gotta go

weird professional moment while snacking as I reviewed a website for 2026 updates and realised that the snack was actually made by the client and had the web address I was looking at written on the side

Hard drive kept randomly filling itself up — turns out the culprit was Apple's 'Intelligent Download Assets' service... it got stuck downloading Apple Intelligence bullshit and filled my disk with 380gb of incomplete downloads.

Really insightful (and well produced) video from Tim looking at electronic music and systems that connect rather than divide us... a timely perspective. Technology can and should be a tool for building bridges and shared culture.
Why I'm playing live again to prove my humanity in the AI age (+ kick back against slop and individualism)

Shot around my mum's place in West Sussex. The landscape was a big part of the script-writing - almost like playing it as an instrument.

I was interviewed for a podcast for the first time. Beforehand I felt strong imposter syndrome and afterwards I am worried I will sound arrogant and didn't say anything interesting. So... that's what that's like.

love receiving code generated by LLMs from non-technical clients 'co-pilot says just use this!'

so you want my workflow to be you talk to co-pilot, send me code that I implement, then I tell you it's not working, you tell co-pilot and so on yeah? great great great cool

Thought this was pretty clever from Discord, not just telling you about the feature but letting you actually use it before subscribing to confirm changes. Not that I'm going to but props.

Buskers make our city vibrant but too often they’re pushed out.

It was great to get out on the streets with the musicians & artists.

They deserve safe, accessible spaces to perform.

Sign the petition with @wearethemu.bsky.social urging Westminster Council to Back The Buskers.

Amit Sheen shows us even more corner-shape goodness. We’re really spoiled with CSS now.

Understanding CSS corner-shape and the Power of the Superellipse
The CSS corner-shape property (very new! only in Chrome Canary!) is useful in basic use cases, for advanced shape making, and the superellipse() function is *extra* powerful.
