When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

About as close you get to a lay-up in investing. Sell Tesla.
And leave any fund manager who didn't sell last year.
Long crypto short Tesla have been the two obvious trades since November.
If you own Tesla stock, sell as soon as possible, it’s not going to recover and even if it does it’s blood money now.

Cool stuff, thanks to engineers and #AI.

AI just designed an extremely tough material that is impossibly light... has the toughness of steel, but weighs about as much as foam.

"DeepSeek = deepfake?"
That's the title and sentiment of Owen Rask's latest email.

Anyone who has tried #DeepSeek knows Owen has missed the mark by 11,360 kilometers. The distance USA and China are apart.

DeepSeek is almost as good as GPT-4 and Claude.
It was trained at a fraction of the cost.
