- A-frame spins
- lack of musicality
- knee slides
- climbing all over the boards and mugging for the judges
- that weird squat
- egregious cartwheels
- tinkly music
- slow dirge covers of upbeat pop songs
- song repeats in one season
- jump drill routines

My most controversial Christmas opinion is that modern songs like "Last Christmas" and even "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" are far less annoying than a lot of 'classics' like "Sleigh Ride" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

Animation is a caricature of life, not a lesser imitation of it. Remaking cartoons in live-action, or giving the characters realistic proportions, hairs, warts, etc., robs them of the stylized exaggeration that made them appealing in the first place.
