She ran as a moderate. Maybe you think that’s good and maybe you think that’s bad. All I am arguing is that the endless takes about how Democrats should pivot to the center should explain why it didn’t work in this election (there are good reasons!) rather than pretending she didn’t.

you don’t get to indulge in whataboutism as an excuse to not do anything.

stop insisting COVID-aware folk want you to shut down the world. we’re asking you to open it up—for everyone.

so be a big boy/girl: wear a mask, and it you want to help disabled people, take a cue from the late alice wong:

It's very hard to buy anti-immigrant rhetoric if you fundamentally don't think people being from a different place/culture/racial background is an issue. Like RIP to reform voters, but I don't feel threatened when I see a brown person in tescos.

Like all love to Zack Polanski, but when he's been asked if he thinks anti-immigrant people are racist, he's said no, they're just being manipulated.

And they *are*—in the sense that they're being sold a pack of lies—but they only buy into the bullshit because they're racist.

Also its sooo fake. You can't be scared of declining birth rates and then say there's "too many immigrants."

Unless what you're actually doing is great replacement shit, in which case you can't keep trying to pretend not to be racist.
