A friend had a big professional win (passed a certification exam that would've cost $1200 to retake). She got home & walked in the door w/ a giant grin. Her husband saw her face & said, full of hope, "Is he dead?"

Which kind of took the joy out of her good news, b/c she had to say, "No, but..."

They should try to organize a couple of thousand normal people to strike for wages in a clear cut union contract bargaining situation before assuming that we can persuade an an entire nation to walk off the job by posting about it really hard.
