It’s amazing to me that this #RaiseUp franchise has gotten to the point where losing in Game 5 of the ECF elicits this much disappointment. Anyone who suffered through the dark times knows just how unreal this run is.

Well the refs in this game are leaving a lot to be desired… but what else is new in the NHL 😑 Aho getting dinged for defending himself and the Panthers now “getting away” with things (using the national broadcasts’ term since they at least acknowledged it?)

I hate that the national broadcast (which is our only choice of course for this round onward)… only showed like 2 seconds of Scotty doing the siren (but didn’t have the sound on for it??) and then was all in studio literally until puck drop. I want to see more of pregame not them yapping 😂

Very random but as someone who used to live in DC (in the city, not the suburbs)… this was posted in a discord server I’m in and it’s taking everything in me not to be like “um last I checked, Nationals park is in DC, not Northern Virginia!” It’s bothering me more than it should 😂

Quite something that Schumer had his NYT op-ed justifying his surrender ready to go tonight while not informing the public (including his constituents) of his plans. He seems to think this is just an old-school pr battle. He's never been more wrong.

We need a new senate minority leader… the economy already isn’t doing well, and it just feels like he’s rolling over/playing dead. The MINIMUM is to vote against it- but why not filibuster/push this back onto republicans- possibly having a shutdown even though they have full control?
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.
