I never cared for him even when he was new. He was sooo overhyped, landing the cover of every single game magazine and the game was meh... if you played the SNES version. It was much worse on the Genesis. Granted I didn't care for Aero the Acrobat either.

It's possible the stream mis-set the dialog normalization in the Dolby Digital encoder settings. I usually set it to -31db but that disables DN so that there's no pumping. However on a streaming service that would probably be a bad value to set it to since people watch on their phones, etc.

There was no way to progress. I'd die and lose all of my crap. Couldn't build myself up. Plus any "rogue-ness" just makes it that much worse. I prefer intentional level design. I cannot understand the appeal of rogue-like or light.
