Today I had to leave my environmental advocacy job and listen to someone say that I should “dedicate my time to something that benefits the causes I believe in since I have such an issue with how the world is” like. Damn. Wish I thought of that!

A friend of mine was recently feeling terrible for not 100% entirely boycotting a brand that the internet hates rn. And idk man. All corporations are evil whether they’re overt about it or not? Idk. Maybe we need to be nicer to ourselves (and others obviously) in this hellscape.
