had a moment of genuinely profound despair in M&S on Saturday when for some reason it hit me right out of nowhere as I was looking at the wine that there’s a non zero chance we’re gonna have to go to war with the USA
I’ve got some days off work coming up soon and it sure is a sign of the the times that I’m not so much looking forward to relaxing & having fun as I’m just thinking ‘thank goodness, an opportunity to really wallow in sheer existential dread in peace’

I guess on some level of course I've always known there are people who feel that way, but the specific implication of 'she's a queer woman so it's ok to murder her in cold blood' really hit me, just saying it out loud on a news channel not even as a hypothetical, but as a justification
