Who "ought not to be caving."
This article is a spot-on analysis of the mishegoss that a bad-faith, or no-faith, malevolent administration is perpetrating on colleges and universities. Who, be it said, ought not to be caving.
"My Jewish students, contrary to what the Trump administration would have us believe, hold a broad spectrum of opinions about Israel and Palestine, the current war, and the environment on campus."

Truly disgusting but consistent with the Musk agenda. Deny opportunity to others and then harp on the virtue of "merit."

"bonded over hate"
i think this is basically what has happened a big chunk of the american pundit class
One of my best friends is from a sleepy, wealthy small town in the south-west of Germany. He said, so many of my parents’ neighbours are rich and bored, with little to complain about, and they’ve radicalised themselves at dinner parties and online. In their aimlessness, they’ve bonded over hate.

Extending the swamp not draining it.
Dear Dems. This is a reminder that Donald Trump rescinded the ethics rules preventing gifts to executive branch employees.

Now would be a good time to propose legislation formalizing the prevention into a law

Time to do things that make him react to you.

Trump has canceled Biden's ethics rules. Critics call it the opposite of 'drain the swamp'
Donald Trump took office eight years ago pledging to “drain the swamp” of the dominance of Washington influence peddlers.

Yep, behavior doesn't matter, only reaction to behavior. Hegseth surely makes enough money to pay his friggin' taxes, unless he perhaps has decided that his lofty, unearned position doesn't require him to do so.
Defense Secretary reframing not paying his taxes as a weaponization of government is a pretty good distillation of where things are

Not persuasion so much as being able to fact check, complete the incomplete sentences if you will. Moreover diplomats are all on X and that is a big chunk of the audience for ourselves and others. X is a cesspool but it has alot of company now. Don't blame others for leaving, but not all can.
I'm seeing people say "you have to stay on Twitter to persuade the audience there," and the thing about that claim is that I am a lot better at persuasive argument than most of you, and I was not able to do that successfully for most people.

Pledge to use as many of these diverse words and phrases, free of bias and race and gender respecful, as we are able.
Among other reasons, censorship is bad because a lot of these terms are used multiple ways. “Confirmation bias” is the most common logical fallacy, for example - I’d like the folks at NSA to be particularly attuned to it.
2. A memo distributed by NSA leadership to its staff says that on February 10, all NSA websites and internal network pages that contain banned words will be deleted.

This is the list of 27 banned words distributed to NSA staff:

This administration is desperate to do something it ultimately can't -- disengage "merit" from the privilege related to money, race, gender and access which are connected to merit at its root. We will reference this connection in any and all formats available to us.

Dangerous and blatantly illegal.
It's a coup.
The armed individual who blocked senators from entering federal property bears the insignia of "Triple Canopy", which merged with Blackwater in 2014.

This is a mercenary paramilitary guard for Musk and his minions. *Anyone wearing this insignia should be considered extremely dangerous.*

Trump is lying. This is post-electoral version of "I know nothing about Project 2025."
Trump has no idea whatsoever what Musk is actually doing even though he also signed the executive order giving DOGE “full and prompt access to all unclassified agency records, software systems, and IT systems."
REPORTER: Does Musk or anyone at DOGE have direct access through the government systems to how money is dispersed?

TRUMP: No. Nothing.
