“It is outrageous that YouTube is furthering the Trump administration’s agenda to remove evidence of human rights violations and war crimes from public view.“

YouTube Quietly Erased More Than 700 Videos Documenting Israeli Human Rights Violations
The tech giant deleted the accounts of three prominent Palestinian human rights groups — a capitulation to Trump sanctions.

Fascism is not here “just now.” For the majority world, the US has been the incubator of fascist imperialism for over a hundred years. Nazism itself was inspired by Jim Crow laws. As was Zionism.

The Trump regime is merely its latest, most flamboyant flag bearer.

Pop singer Ethel Cain calls for killing more CEOs.

I keep saying that younger generations are being radicalized from the denial of any political agency by oligarchs and no one is going to like what's coming. This isn't isolated from what I've seen.

The police exist to protect property, not people.
This post from @alexnpress.bsky.social is just too on the nose of how law enforcement is used and implemented to protect the capital of the obscenely rich.

The working class unity on *the recent events* is why I continue to hold hope for people.

We may be presented as divided on the culture war but we will be united in the class war.

this is an argument for banning both all plastic surgery and knee replacements
Kavanaugh obsessed over trans people "regretting" their decision to transition and that being a state interest.

Setting aside the fact that the rate of "regret" is very low, it's not the state's job to protect people from regret.

This is an argument for the ultimate nanny-state.

I don't think the business elites understand just how much they're hated. Today's assassination and rampant celebration of it is a window into America's soul. I think it's going to send shockwaves among top CEO's who will now spend exhorbitant amounts on security, further isolating them from society

No shit murder is bad. The jokes about the United CEO aren’t really about him; they’re about the rapacious healthcare system he personified and which Americans feel deep pain and humiliation about

Some guy sits in his office all day killing people by the hundreds with an Excel spreadsheet and he's "just another CEO, that's the system, there's nothing you can do about it."

Then somebody kills him with a ~gun~ on the ~street~ and suddenly pearls everywhere are clutched into a fine powder.

Actually kind of shocked that so many on the so-called "left" on here would celebrate the death of the CEO of the Shorten People's Lives Factory.

Inaccessibility for colourblindness is caused by design choices. A design issue, not an engineering issue. The fix is design choices, not engineering workarounds.

Filters are inherently exclusionary, they aren't the answer. Fix the design instead of trying to fix people's eyes.

Listened to the Hasan interview on Pod Save America. I think he did a good job in the context but if the host is a reflection of the audience I think it's really hard to convince any liberals to embrace leftism. They still think Biden was a good President if not for Gaza 😪
