The first is such a perfect shibboleth for the area. Either you know how to pronounce Louisville, KY correctly or everyone who does instantly knows you aren't from around here... and if they're paying attention the local way to say it is precise enough you really need to practice it to fake that.

Somehow I missed that there's a pizza joint in South Jersey that got called out because amidst a wall of stickers in the back visible from the counter were two SS thunderbolt stickers alongside more tame pro-Trump, Anti-Biden/Harris fare. South Jersey is never beating the allegations.

Wine decanters are indeed often used to aerate wine, but an older and (arguably) more basic usage of any decanter is to pour a liquid without disturbing any sediment in it. Both wine and some oils naturally carry sediment from their processing and decanters ideally let you get the cleanest part out.

Spend a whole book having other characters lament how they're going to deal with things because the fool of a chosen one got themselves murdered. "We gathered the body and we're studying it to figure out some of their powers worked but it's slow going. Wish the kid had listened and waited..."🤣

Body doubling and similar exercises of roping other people in work because empathy can outweigh the ADHD urge to lose focus; it matters that someone else is involved because it matters that what I do or don't do impacts them. It matters that I know they expect things of me and are aware of progress.
