Of course you'd assume that Alan would be played for laughs and end up being the guest that's bumped off like Tanya, but - and especially since Alan Partridge will never die - it'd be far better to watch his inevitable decline to the point of murdering one of the other guests.

Possibly only works because that logo had become *so* distinctive by this point, and a the impact of a considered choice to bleed is better than the impact of unconsidered sizing and placement. Iconic looks though, the pair of 'em.

Anyway I finally got to play SSX tonight and for a lot of that time just let the intro play on a loop before rediscovering that my playing style was to just career downhill and crash into everything. Released 26 years ago this year so I'm off to take some supplements for my joints now bye.

Oh, yes. I didn't try with my PS2 though did go online with my Dreamcast and even then the experience was painful. The PS2 adapter also lets you add a hard drive which is more useful now for copying games to disk and being able to play them without the original game discs. For backup purposes, obvs.

At least Clippy had a bit of personality. And you could make it go away.

I'm now patiently waiting for the "you seem to be having an irrational breakdown over a piece of software" focus mode suggestion to pop up.

I'm guessing that John Lennon was a big fan of working with wool. Even now I'll bet he's spinning from his grave. Oh, in. I meant spinning in his grave.
