Yeah they used a bit for placeholder and then I believe they outsourced some movies the alters could watch. it was last minute and they required translations so they used it for that since they didn't have time before release. They released a very sincere mea culpa that made me feel ok but I get it!

The moment that solidified it was when a clone had taken a different path and the version cloned had lost an arm and so there clone couldn't deal with the fact he had two arms and fucking cut off his arm because his brain couldn't process the fact he was whole. It was like reverse phantom pain
