We need an international “What do we do about the billionaires?” summit.

Their manipulation of our governments in the service of their insatiable greed threatens not only the quality of life of everyone on Earth but also the very survival of the human race.

All pubs and restaurants should have a pot of communal reading glasses behind the bar for the twats like myself who can't see the menu because I forgot to bring a pair

Brilliant article by @nathanley.com on why Oxford needs to try out congestion charging.
Oxford trying out a congestion charge is worth a shot in 2025

I am quite honestly fed up with the negativity and hypocrisy around it. It's time to make the positive case 👇

Rather than looking at pylons as a blight on the landscape I like to think of them as miniature Eiffel Towers distributing the life blood of technology and civilisation to the country and you don't even need to travel to Paris to see one!!
'there is a special place in hell for politicians who object to solar farms & other renewable projects. But perhaps the hottest part is reserved for those who seek to slow pylons and other forms of electricity transmission, they keep us on course for a burning world. bright-green.org/2023/11/07/g...
Greens need to fall on the right side of the coming pylon wars
The energy transition will need major infrastructure. It's vital Greens don't oppose it.

Big news! Dom Whiting aka "Drum & Bass on the bike" is coming to Oxford. This Sunday at 2pm, Broad Street.

Not quite sure how I'm going to make the logistics work but I'm gonna do my very best - can't wait.
