I wonder if starting a completely unjustified war that will kill many innocent people will be the straw that breaks the camel's back and gets people to actually mass protest or general strike to stop it from happening? Or will people just be upset but OK with it as long as they're barely surviving?

If the renters got together they could have gotten the mortgage and serviced the loan with 500 left over. Why pay a landlord if you're not loan the capital from them? If you're paying for the whole thing it should be yours.

I have to wonder if the self-described "leftists" whose primary motivation is clearly to constantly crash out at literally any (usually falsely) perceived slight and to purposely sabotage and dampen every single win the left gets are really leftists at all.

I don't understand why Australia is implementing the social media minor ban in the worst way possible. The government knows who you are, they have your birth certificate, your TFN, your drivers license, your medicare card, etc.

The dems have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They have made themselves look foolish and retroactively assigned themselves the blame for the shutdown. Great job.
There is no explanation for what happened today that doesn't fall either in to the category of malice, or the category of stupidity. Either way, the American people have suffered for nothing.

They're so fucking stupid (or pretending to be). All their opponents have to do is say "That's a hard no" and no matter how much leverage they have, and how little leverage their opponents have, they will believe that and just give up on the spot. I fucking hate the democrats so much.

Democrats had all the leverage, and republicans were getting screwed, could not apply any pressure at all, and democrats still caved. Democrats NEED to learn about bargaining power and leverage. They're so blind to effectively political action they couldn't even tell that they were winning.

It always impresses me how American politicians are so eager to defile their own legacy so they'll be remembered for how weak they were and how they allowed thousands of people to die.
