every time you see a bigoted rage bait piece in the guardian or wherever else (you shouldn't, don't read the guardian. they are bigoted shitheads.) how about instead of sharing that piece you share some cool work by trans people.

theyre filming some of the new HBO Harry Potter series somewhat locally and i had a lil look at the socials for the news coverage about it

mostly the locals are annoyed by them being here, pot holes, and not being able to get to the cove the usual way because its blocked off.

a terminal illness in my family meant we had to arrange and throw a wedding within 3 months and literally the only way i would ever have been able to afford it is because of social media

the internet can be kick ass af and would be most of the time if not for a handful of shit heads.

a reminder: most sexual and domestic violence against women is committed by a cisgender man she knows well.

Acceptance of trans people has never once even remotely changed this because there are more sexual and domestic violence incidents in the UK per year than there are trans people total.

I'll go even further than just needing to ask permission

any AI model which uses other people's data or work should ask for permission AND offer compensation. Any AI model which doesn't do this should be immediately deleted - not reworked to take stuff out - wholesale deleted and you start again.

and no he probs didnt tell them to do it but we all know what this asshole is doing, why he's doing it and what the consequences of it are going to be.

I don't like acknowledging this asshole at all, but I do believe these sort of rage bait content creators are detrimental to the medium of games, they take up so much of the space and dominate conversations with this behaviour. And they just move on to the next person they're going victimize.

racists, transphobes and bigots more generally are absolutely objectively and factually those things.

But they truly do not believe they are not for any real reason. they just know those things are bad and refuse to accept them about themselves.
