I'd say at least a blacklist from ever working with another trans person in any capacity but I'm not forced to see them for my gatekept HRT.

Oslo University Hospital caught using trans patients' journals for research purposes:
- Without the patients' consent to participate in research
- Affecting minors
- 1700 of them
- Taking highly sensitive information from said journals

This is a HUGE breach.

They point to San Francisco using Briefcam, and these systems combined with police abandoning has exactly done what for that city?

It doesn't stop anything, including the precipitous fall in public confidence in the police and legal system/govt. Same for the digital pantopicon of London England.

Regardless of the intent — the JdM article talked about "solving murders" — this is an attack on our civil liberties and data sovereignty.

NEW - A BC Conservative MLA says Deputy Whip Reann Gasper went through their personal phone last night—checking who they were texting, emailing, and DM’ing. These were private phones and accounts, not party-issued devices.

2/ Most MLAs reportedly handed over their phones without protest.

3/ At the start of caucus, John Rustad told MLAs: if you’re against me, leave the room—you’ll be removed from caucus. He raised his voice several times, insisting he’ll never step down and anyone who disagrees should walk out.

4/ Rustad also told caucus that Chief of Staff Brad Zubyk plans to resign, though he’s trying to convince him to stay.

5/ Unrelated to last night’s events, a contact tells me there’s talk in municipal circles that Zubyk could join Ken Sim’s team—unclear if that’s at City Hall or for the re-election campaign. Strictly speculation at the moment, not confirmed.
