To "step foot" rather than to "set foot" seems to be common parlance these days. It's quite jarring to me.

Yeah, I know. I tried a VCS version and the 400/800 version on emulators but the minimal UI and on-screen feedback made understanding it more opaque than I expected, which was disappointing.

That puzzle where Guybrush is thrown into the water tied to the idol, and there are sharp knives and scissors just out of reach, that is my favourite adventure game puzzle ever.
