Old video games bloke from Newcastle. Definitely Left-leaning and hence increasingly annoyed in these troubled times.

Have yourself a Hieronymus Bosch Christmas.
This mural has gone up in Kingston, ostensibly for Christmas but AI has ensured it's actually to celebrate the return of our dark lord Cthulhu

A cultural act of war.
Buckle up - because this now amounts to a direct and deliberate attack on our country and its cultural sovereignty. Which side our politicians take - Trump's or the BBC's - over the coming days and weeks will speak volumes about their patriotism.
Trump says he will sue BBC for at least $1bn over Panorama edit
The US president confirmed he intends to sue the broadcaster for at least $1bn over the Panorama edit of a 2021 speech.

Ooh dear, Commodore (Ab)User! The review of C64 Elite in issue 20 reveals it was "not original" because, haven't you heard of Star Raiders (on the Atari, not the C64)?

Star Raiders' reputation intrigued me for years until I played it and found it incomprehensible. What was I missing, Atari fans?

Big day for my friends at Three Fields Entertainment! After 5 years Wreckreation launches on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It's a funny, fast, FAFO open world driving game with racing, crashing and building your own mad stunt tracks online. And I helped a little bit.

It's been 25 years?!
SONY PlayStation 2 released 25 years ago today, October 26th 2000 in North America.

What else can I say other than the PS2 is one of the greatest and most important consoles in the history of video games. There's simply no debating that.

The PS2 is legendary. Period.

Being @geordiegamer.bsky.social comes with certain responsibilities. Today I had a dose of James Bolam in this great old BBC doco then came the John Woodvine news. Both from south of the river, but their roles in When The Boat Comes In make them both part of Geordie history. youtu.be/2si49AFf_AU?...
