Spoke with TD Barry Heneghan on the #EchoChamberPod who was onboard the Thousand Madleens to Gaza Flotilla yesterday just as they were entering the “red zone.” A few hours later he was abducted by Israeli forces in international waters alongside the rest of his humanitarian crew.

The reason Israel thinks it can get away with everything is because Israel gets away with everything. Sanctions now. Pass the Occupied Territories Bill. Kick them out of FIFA, UEFA and IOC.

Nearly a quarter of our product price is VAT.

How did journalists get access to detailed information held on the Pulse system about an individual who failed the vetting to work in Leinster House?
Name, crime, time served, outcome of vetting, appeal.
All very detailed data.
In the public domain.
Is everyone's vetting data public?

Leave aside the Connolly campaign. Consider all the people who go through garda vetting. That is a significant bloc of the population- volunteer parents helping kids in sports, at scouts, in charities.

Will that police data leak if the Gardaí want to intervene in a political campaign in the future?

The Irish Times interview with Steen underscores how painfully entitled and obnoxious she is but this bit made me laugh. It’s so clearly bullshit (obviously she she just picked up her favourite bag thinking nothing of it) but even the fake rationale makes her look like a prick! lol

It appears that there is an increasingly high chance Israel will be banned next week from UEFA due to its genocide in Gaza, which would in turn effectively end its hopes of qualifying for the World Cup.

I have heard this independently confirmed from another source.
