He's learned a lot about the social distancing benefits of being a model/human mannequin - from Melania perhaps. That is, having no responsibility for whatever is happening around him until he is directed in some way.

Possible indicator that New York Times readers were distracted today: fewer than 500k people played Wordle today. Usually it's well over 1M.

Note to podcasters: your topic may be compelling, your production values slick. But if your voices are hard to listen to, it's all for naught.

The future is not linear. It will not be glossy or slick. It will not be covered in lights.

It will not be purple, orange, and teal.

The future is unthinkable with the brains and concepts we hold today.

Train yourself now. Set yourself up for surprises several times every day. Break routines.

Palantir? Lockheed Martin? Elon?
Trump claims that a mystery friend has donated $130 million to pay troops (it would cover a fraction) but we can’t know any details because he “doesn’t want recognition.”

I appreciate anyone willing to give $130 million to our troops but I’d still like to know more about this.

the point of the ballroom obvs has nothing to do with aesthetics. it's to create an architectural structure to honor the patronage networks that currently dominate US politics. previous WH venues hosted maybe a couple of hundred people; this hosts nearly 1,000 rich donors.

Now that the US pulled off a second fabulous #NoKings demo, it's high time to work on the YES vision.
