Orin Kerr recalls a 2011 article in which people were asked to view a protest video and say whether the protesters were behaving lawfully. It was an experiment: their reading of lawfulness turned out to depend greatly on whether the protesters were said to be on their or the other side.

We Americans are waking up to that in autocracies the regime doesn’t govern with you, or for you, but *against* you.
The shooting of people and leaving them to die appears to be DHS policy.
We know the playbook at this point - DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin will say the driver was trying to run over the immigration agent.

I am outside Roosevelt now, my daughter goes there. Talked to staff, ICE was in a car pursuit of someone and they crashed and went up on school property. Teachers formed a circle around the person to protect them. Ice releases tear gas and took two people

The woman killed by ICE was Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year old who was the mother of a 4-year old child whose father already died a few years ago.

Her vehicle's right front panel cleared the ICE agent who didn't open fire until after he was at the side of her vehicle. He used deadly force on a fleeing individual, which is against DHS policy. This is murder. He needs to be arrested.
