So I'm launching a newsletter about Inclusive Android Apps in December!

Inclusive Android Apps is a monthly newsletter about making Android apps more inclusive. I cover accessibility, LGBTQ+ inclusive design, internationalization, and other considerations for apps to not accidentally exclude users.

This Samsung OneUI is kind of growing on me but I still do not love it, I'm just not hating it as much.

The worst part about being sick is that I was sick last week already, it seems the older I get the more frail I become.

My goal is of course to finish it and then start Chapterhouse, so that I can finish the original series.

I am really enjoying Heretics of Dune, the power dynamics and struggles between the factions are always interesting to me.

Of course I am still around 1/5 into the book.

Proud to say this has been my browser for over half a year and I have zero intentions on going back to another one.

I came back to use my Nothing Phone, I keep forgetting how nice it looks and how fast it is.

I still want at some point to purchase a Fold device to read more when unfolded but they are still so expensive. I would rather scroll some more for now. It's cheaper.

Situations like this really highlight how so many tech companies and tech we take for granted have flourished on the backs of thousands of hours of free labour, which is bad enough, but they also have absolute contempt for that free labour and those that gave it.
Mozilla deployed an AI bot that overwrote 20 years of volunteer Japanese translations, without consultation. JP community leader resigned, and the offer from Mozilla is to "hop on a quick call to understand why they're struggling". FFS.

I am realising how stressed I am based on my stomach problems and the fact that they pop up when it's rough, like now I woke up at half past midnight and can't fall asleep again.

I've realised that by January I won't have YouTube Premium, so I basically won't actually use YouTube that much anymore. In the meantime I do need to somehow make some sort of script to transfer at least my playlists to another service, probably Tidal or Spotify.
