Yeah at some point we have to immerse ourselves in the game and even throw some of our own personal knowledge out the window to keep the game running.

Sure the GM can be responsible for a lot of that, but sometimes a player has to go "yeah okay, I'll go along with this"

It makes me so angry when I come across these.
I was looking at a "video editor" job listing recently, after the brief company story and required qualifications it finally got to the daily tasks.

The entire job was training AI on already created videos. Not the company's videos, just any video

Difficult to express the added insult & fatigue it causes when job hunting that about 1/3 of the listings I see are training an AI to do the job so they can fire you later. Sometimes even stealthily inserted part way through a job description!

Tonight at D&D my players told me they loved an encounter in the big dungeon we're in.

I felt very proud because I made the encounter up on the spot when they did something I didn't expect.
