Today I volunteered myself to be the anime expert at work. Which is actually more useful than it sounds. It's more that I have some knowledge of Japanese, as knowing a little helps when dealing with those works.
Nice to get back into that sort of area though.

The GiGO arcade in Akihabara that closed earlier this year's re-opening on 22nd Nov - as another arcade called Silk Hat Tokyo (they used to have an arcade in Ikebukuro).

Got told I passed probation today. Not really surprised, but I'd been trying not to jinx it.
Got a nice pay rise for passing probation too, so very pleased about it all.

1 No death metal :(
2 No incredibly lengthy songs
