Russia seeds chatbots with lies. Any bad actor could game AI the same way. In their race to push out new versions with more capability, AI companies leave users vulnerable to “LLM grooming” efforts that promote bogus information.

Look, if you want a reasonably charming holiday movie to put on in the background while you unload your dishwasher, this is the one for you. A Christmas Prince gives you exactly what it promises: Christmas romance. Do the leads have sizzling chemistry? Not really. Would I, personally, be willing to leave New York in order to marry Prince Richard? Definitely not. But hey, not every movie has to be "high art." A Christmas Prince may not merit entry into the Christmas film canon, but no one is asking it to. So grab a fluffy blanket, turn on your tree, and pour a big glass of eggnog - at the very least, by the time Richard and Amber get their happily-ever-after, you'll be cozy and drunk (and just a little sad that you're single for the seventh Christmas in a row... okay, maybe that's just me?) i am once again begging americans traveling to europe to consider that the reason they feel better is that they are:

- walking wayyyyy more
- eating more slowly (giving themselves time to recognize feelings of fullness)
- literally just less stressed because they are on vacation
I swear there’s 100% a food pandemic in the USA…I have been in Italy for 9 days, eating fabulous pasta, sweets - and I feel so good. I feel lighter, less bloated, never feeling over stuffed…and I ate a lot! I firmly believe it’s in all the artificial additives in the food in the US - we need to fix this… Obesity is out of control, Ozempic is not the answer - food ingredient reform is. We have a lot of challenges to get through in the US but I think what we are fueling our bodies on is a big one!!!! I sure am going to miss this amazing food!!

Part of last night’s class was Stuart Hall’s “Encoding and Decoding.”

I can’t stop thinking about this section, in light of Ezra Klein’s piece.
It must suffice to say that the professionals are linked with the defining elites not only by the institutional position of broadcasting itself as an 'ideological apparatus', but also by the structure of access (that is, the systematic 'over-accessing' of selective elite personnel and their "definition of the situation' in television). It may even be said that the professional codes serve to reproduce hegemonic definitions specifically by not overtly biasing their operations in a dominant direction: ideological reproduction therefore takes place here inadvertently, unconsciously, 'behind men's backs'.
