The excessive rhetoric over Mamdami is more likely to bring people TO HIM than against him. Dems screwed up by backing retread Cuomo over other candidates.

Non New Yorker. I would disagree with several of Mamdani's polices-rent control/freezes, freezes on child care (how will the workers keep up w/inflation), and probably more if I lived there. That said, calling him a communist is crazy. Utah operates over 50 liquor stores-he wants 5 grocery stores.

Non New Yorker. I would disagree with several of Mamdani's polices-rent control/freezes, freezes on child care (how will the workers keep up w/inflation), and probably more if I lived there. That said, calling him a communist is crazy. Utah operates over 50 liquor stores-he wants 5 grocery stores.
On one hand, MS-13 is the scariest gang around. On the other, they have to hang out at Home Depot and a park because major crime organizations always try to fit it in between applying drywall.

The Trump agenda, beyond the corruption and evil in it, should be called MIGA: Make Inflation Great Again. Huge deficits that will require more borrowing, removing working people in industries that will be hard-pressed to get native-born workers, and encouraging more ER care in hospitals is stupid.

There has to be some way to ID ICE agents to protect rights and avoid having imposters use their tactics for robberies and attacks. ID numbers that are visible and the ability to verify them--even if in confidential filings in courts to avoid doxxing worries.

'Signalgate' is not just a Hegseth problem. While the sharing of attack plans was an OPSEC issue, it is just part of the Administration's plan to avoid scrutiny. Anyone in the Administration who is working to avoid future accountability is committing a crime.

If Trump's tariffs would get countries rushing to the table as quickly as he claimed, wouldn't it have made sense to announce them with a 30 day notice? The time prior to announcement could have prepared negotiation points and done the same without causing chaos for businesses and retirements.

Lutnick is probably the only one they should let talk. He parried about the tariffs on penguin island by talking about China sending goods through different countries and about having Americans fix the robots that make the iPhones. The 'our beef is beautiful and Europe's is weak' was dumb.
