What amuses me about the stash in Arc Raiders is that there's practically no in-world rhyme or reason for how a lot of the stack sizes work. I know it's technically to incentivize players to go and use their important items already, but a keycard being the same size as a giant reactor is funny

As interesting as it is to theorize on the slightly different values in Re:Boot versus the original game, this is most likely just the correction of a typo that they left alone for the past 15 years. In the scripting for the original game, it uses the same value that Re:Boot does, for example.

The lack of crowds really stands out in the Re:Boot BGs, with Akiba feeling like a ghost town devoid of life. I hope they address this instead of being fixated on some kind of uncanny ultra-realistic architecture, it doesn't really capture how the city is practically a character of its own

When you're CPU bottlenecked and you want a smoother experience? Sure, if you know and accept the drawbacks. As a bandaid for a game that doesn't run well, or to false advertise performance uplifts? No. We should be suing AMD and nVidia into the ground for enabling this shit.
