Yeah, I don’t necessarily want to shame folks who do or did Santa; “that’s how I was raised” is a sensible argument, it IS a cultural tradition. I may have come off harsh.

I love shitty magical artifacts. The stuff that barely works, or does something utterly niche, but the protagonists find a perfect use for it.
