9. Cool. I'm sure that doesn't mean replace the COBOL, modernize unemployment systems, & stop using SAS. It prob means wasting money on AI & hiring your nephews.

10. Sounds fine.

8. Idk. I'm fine with getting rid of some dumb task forces & boards. Consolidate power.

7. Seems unnecessary. NJans who attend college in-state are already compensated via way lower tuition. Students attend expensive out-of-state schools for vibes reasons, not rational ones. How does this square w/ the desire to lower income taxes again?

5. I don't care much about corporate taxes so I'll pass.

6. Can't reduce income taxes if you want to preserve direct prop tax relief like the Sr Freeze. Banning prop taxes on home improvement is a hilarious way to make the code super complicated.

4. Ending pork wouldn't even come close to rolling back recent spending increases. To do that, you must address Stay NJ, the Sr Prop Tax Freeze that you support, & ANCHOR. I imagine this would also mean underfunding pensions & NJ Transit again.

Pork is such a red herring.

3. Already been said before: "all-of-the-above" but exclude the energy source that outpaced demand as decrepit fossil fuel plants must shut down.

Idc about the BPU. Fuck em.

2. Capping per pupil school funding would slash funding, dumbass.

The state funding 100% of SpEd would be good. But the state should also cover 100% of ALL school funding.

S2 was good. I will die on this hill. Follow the formula, bitches. (If you want to reform Local Fair Share, let's talk.)

1. Always funny when cons whine about state income taxes, even opposing a $75k state grant to Gboro for a dog park bcs it raises income taxes, yet support a Senior Tax Freeze that actually cost a LOT in state funds.

NJ's language for talking about affordability is broken because the word Affordability is synonymous with "lower property taxes" here.

In last year's Senate race, the Republican at least said he'd support loosening zoning when I asked. I was wondering if Chia would at least give platitudes.

I am not the biggest fan of Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill, but Page 1 of her "Affordability Agenda" literally says "build a range of housing options, including workforce housing and “Missing Middle” units such as starter homes and ADUs". www.mikiesherrill.com/Aff_Agenda_W...

I'm sure a public awareness campaign & classes for teenagers will fix this.

Newark mayor Ras Baraka's administration is proposing downzoning some parts of the city back to R-1 single-family zoning:

South Jersey has our own, homegrown, VERY prolific webcomic writer, whom I check in on every so often, and, well, don't read it if you're a snowflake:

I know this isn't a serious analysis, but it'd be funny if guys lured to Austin (or, more realistically, its suburbs) for low taxes discovered that the quality of life isn't that great.

I was there. It's OK. It's got a Confederate memorial for a reason, though.

Turns out Glassboro has a Complete Streets resolution circa 2012. It just seems they never actually did anything to meet its goals.

Same goes for our 2019 Growth Mgmt Plan calling for rezoning parts of our main stroad for mixed use w/in 1 year. 6 years later, a vacant lot will soon be Chick-Fil-A.

I'm unsure what exactly the job is, but that was my hope. He did JC. Now it's NYC's turn.

And I don't blame him.

A guy in my district ran in the Dem primary for state leg, lost, then immediately moved to Philly.

Fine, criticize his strategy. Maybe he should've worked w/in the system, done the work, joined the party & engaged leaders in good faith.

Then again, a better city is just across the river.

I really, really don't blame him if he's just burnt out and wants that bag.
