Just watched Kel do his first shift in the U14s. First time with full contact ice hockey, first time with no gates, first time with ‘anytime’ changes, against one of the most physical teams in the league … and I’m so proud of the effort he put it!

I know I now use my MiSTer as my primary 8-bit emulator, but this has been broken in Mame for the longest time (and it’s not like Elite is a rarity nobody played’)

Though I do get a buzz out a ‘saving’ a classic (especially if it’s some unappealing mongrel of a cab) rather than paying for a PC in an MDF box.

But the upkeep (especially on CRTs) is a massive time-sink
