What’s still so fascinating to me about my educational career is how much I’ve absorbed over the years. At times I worry about my long term memory but today I was watching this film about a fictional nuclear catastrophe and was able to recall international relations theories I learned in undergrad😅

One way to avoid overwhelm is to choose an issue you’re going to track
Be mindful as you track an issue that you don’t reinforce the idea that US lives matter more than others

My therapists are always shook at how quickly I act after a session😂. We will cover some stuff and I’ll come back the next week, like “before we start, I have to tell you that that thing I was struggling with? Well,I tried what we discussed and here’s how it went….”😌

One of the benefits of being grown is learning to form and stick to your opinion. I’m really enjoying honing my own tastes for food, music, tv and fashion, without needing anybody’s validation. As in if I like it, I like it!🤷🏾♀️…It’s like puberty but funner!😂
