Gator had me try Xillia as my first Tales of game. I agree completely. Starting with Xillia got me excited to binge the rest of the series. Xillia also has one of my favorite skill systems with the Lillium Orb. Easy and intuitive for beginners while allowing player expression for customizing builds.
Since we are supposedly getting Xillia 1 (and hopefully 2) remastered announced tomorrow, I'd like to share why I think Xillia 1 is the best entry point into the series 🧵 no spoilers

Gator had me try Xillia as my first Tales of game. I agree completely. Starting with Xillia got me excited to binge the rest of the series. Xillia also has one of my favorite skill systems with the Lillium Orb. Easy and intuitive for beginners while allowing player expression for customizing builds.
I got into Trails because a friend gifted me Sky FC on Steam(a game I never heard of) saying that it looked like a game I would love. He was more right than he may even have known

I started playing Cold Steel to check out the reused assets from Tokyo Xanadu (my first Falcom game), but now that I think about it, TX reused assets from CS.

This is my favorite opening in the Tales of series so far. I'm still very early in Innocence R, but I'm so excited for this playthrough. It's off to an extremely strong start. I adore the artistic vision in this game to much, and the characters are immediately endearing

This is my favorite opening in the Tales of series so far. I'm still very early in Innocence R, but I'm so excited for this playthrough. It's off to an extremely strong start. I adore the artistic vision in this game to much, and the characters are immediately endearing

The thing I really hate about anti vegans(not hating on people not being vegan. There's a difference) is how they try to act like they have some sort of higher knowledge and moral high ground by saying that plants also have feelings. They act so pretentious over their obsession with meat.
