And will the SNP then shut the fuck up if they dont win a majority? Or will they shift the goal posts yet again? And the Supreme Court ruled on this one. Scotland would need the permission of Westminster for another referendum.

Our politics is directly connected with age.

But still far less tax than 50 years ago.

No they arent very this decade. Its the same old play book and offering of simple solutions going back decades or even centuries. From Brixton to Cable Street, and cheered on by the very same voices of extremism

So your answer is to feed it? And I disagree social media is all to blame.
November 18, 2025 at 10:55 AM
Yep. Classic case of Billionaire distraction techniques. Replace humans with AI, con the humans to blame the foreigner
November 18, 2025 at 8:06 AM
There is definitely one causal link throughout all of this. Far Right rags like the Daily Mail.
November 17, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Clearly Labour did not hate the Tories when it enabled its Brexit.....multiple times.
November 16, 2025 at 8:28 PM
No wonder the Far Right are celebrating @teamlabouruk.bsky.social is their enabler, a bit like with Brexit.
November 16, 2025 at 11:55 AM
In bed with literal nazis
November 16, 2025 at 11:40 AM
Yep your Far Right pals are very supportive. You shd just merge with Reform at this point.
November 16, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Quite a few. The fact remains we still got a tariff slapped on us. And thats just the base tariff. Much higher tariffs on steel and cars

Despite all the doom and gloom pumped out by the RW media, the UK is actually doing well in some measures. FTSE 100 has outperformed the S&P 500 for the first time in many years.

Im afraid it is correct. Do the maths yourself if you like. If it didnt work this way then how would reducing higher rate taxpayers pension relief actually save any money? The net result of doing that is less money goes into that persons pension.
November 11, 2025 at 12:04 AM
I decided to work it out in a spreadsheet. 1k extra of income that takes you £1 over the threshold leaves you with over £1k less in tax relief.
November 10, 2025 at 11:55 PM
Yep and guess who consistently votes not to tax wealth?.....
November 9, 2025 at 9:46 AM
The fix is scrapping the triple lock and in return lowering the age. At present, people are getting lower pay as a direct result of having to pay for the triple lock, to fund a pensioner cohort who are richer than most working ppl.
November 8, 2025 at 2:08 PM
Heres a more recent one. The trend actually accelerates vs 2015
November 8, 2025 at 2:04 PM
'The triple lock just stops pensioners falling further behind, not getting rich.' Not true. At every income bracket, pensioners are now better off than working age people.
November 8, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Perhaps they shouldnt be associating with nazi thugs then. It is very much about the current situation.
