I just can't get over how good this incarnation of King Crimson is. Like insane. They really ripped the playbook and burned it down. And their music sounds so menacing.

Very lo-fi aesthetics, squeaky editing and unbelievably 00's vibes. Yes, it is not perfect but it is very relatable and I am all for Bob Odenkirk doing his pet projects even if the results can be rough around the edges.

If you have never made anyone angry, ever, you have done something wrong. Being your own authentic self without people pleasing is bound to lead to conflicts. That is good. Taking a stand for something is incredibly healthy.

"I Am Afraid" is a film of contradictions: an intense yet restrained depiction of Italy during the so-called "Years of Lead," when anyone involved in politics risked their life. 1/

Improvement on La Vraie Jeune Fille in substance but it lacks the ferocious in-your-face-attitude (one of the few things I liked about in that movie) and at times feels almost like neutered.

This film is as revolting as Salo to my eyes due to my fluid phobia. But I did not get insight into the matter at hand, female sexuality and desire. I dislike how in French cinema metaphors and language are so physical, so concrete. And so painful, as in this movie.
