The US AID programs were based on years of the best research, in partnership with local experts, with respect for local cultures. Without this, the money will be squandered and babies will be born into a life with HIV. This is both cruel and deadly and ripe for actual waste, fraud & abuse.

I don’t believe the Supreme Court is corrupt. We’ve made the Court too powerful and too political. When 9 people can decide massive social issues, the stakes for each appointment become enormous. That’s what drives the partisanship, more than individual corruption. This needs a fix.
