It occurs to me that anything c*nservartives control might be initially lionized but inevitably runs to the ground while anything pr*greasives control is preserved in perfectly accurate-to-history boring dinkiness but also has better healthcare, actually nice staff, and all-genders restrooms.

As someone trapped between cultures, I am just as disgusted by someone who never says please or thank you as someone who adds sir to please and thank you or even says sir to anybody.

My two cents: Podcasts are turning to video because the technology available to create and post content is easier on video platforms. Spotify, the near monopoly on easy to post and listen, objectively sucks. YouTube, the video counterpart, is slightly less oppressive.

I was trying to recall the tune for "In the Bleak Midwinter," and all I could come up with mentally was Conan O'Brien's "In the Year 2000," and I was too lazy to actually look it up, and I finally just gave up.
