Con of the North 2026! Friday we kicked off the con with New Angeles (2016) set in the Android universe. I haven't gotten to play it since helping with it's development, but it stands up as one of my favorite negotiation games.

Naming game abilities is a delicate art. Typically you're trying to:
- Clearly communicate the gist of the mechanical effect to the player.
- Make it memorable so players can communicate to their teammates (if co-op).
- Match art that may have already been finalized.

In case you missed yesterday, Notepad++ auto-update mechanism was hacked and was delivering backdoored versions for a couple months. Tons of devs use this, uninstall completely what you have, search for the sus files mentioned in article and only download from official site

Update: the session was wonderful, with a mix of experienced and new players ranging in age from 40 to 70. I got to break out some of my toys, and fun was seemingly had by all.
