Tooth of a Europasaurus, a dinosaur similar to Diplodocus, in limestone, found in the Langenberg quarry in the Harz Mountains which was also analysed in the study. The tooth is dark grey/brown and about the size of a section of a finger (fingers are also visible top and bottom of image holding the light grey rock). Cosmic dust holds clues to Earth’s ancient atmosphere

Guinea-Paviane im Senegal treffen ihre nächtlichen Entscheidungen offenbar unabhängig von potenziellen Risiken durch Fressfeinde oder Parasiten und bevorzugen es, in guter Nachbarschaft zu schlafen. Dabei nutzen sie überwiegend hohe Bäume in den Galeriewäldern entlang des Gambia-Flusses. 🌴👉 (1/2)

We know when the wild birds sing

Researchers used automatic audio recorders and AI to collect and identify detailed data about birdsong in European Forests. It turned out it was more than just larks and owls: www.uni-goettingen.de/en/3240.html...

Small audio recording devices were used to record bird songs in the forest around the clock. The photograph shows a lush, green forest and the view is up into very tall trees, looking up to the sky behind the canopies.
