This is profoundly sad. The techbros want us isolated as much as possible so they can then swoop in and fill the hole they created. Social media is addictive and they're high tech drug dealers. Not only that but an isolated population is easier to manipulate and are better marks for grifting.

I've just recently started posting my creations on Bluesky, Tumblr, Instagram, and AO3, and the thing I've noticed is how much joy just one comment or one interaction brings me. Like yes, send that heart emoji and nothing else. I love it! I love just knowing 1 or 2 people really enjoy what I made.
