There’s a difficult irony that many people would really rather not have to think about this (ie what started in 2020 that’s clearly still happening)… but willingness to confront it is also the best way to reduce your odds of ending up on this chart + having to think about it all the fucking time.

I do think the popularisation of algorithms on social media is to blame for the current climate in creative spaces, btw. There's a weird expectation that one should never see anything that isn't catered to them personally, so of course stumbling across kink art you don't like feels like a violation.

having an internal quiet autism overstimulation meltdown at work over what is not a huge deal (but constantly happens at home and it makes me insane) but thankfully i get to go home in an hour bc doc appointment + blood draw 😩
