Most of us understand that drawing isn't a matter of inherent talent, but aquired skill. I also think a lot about how your success in learning to draw might have to do with how well you handle frustration, and how comfortable you are with making mistakes. The barrier i usually see--

any time i talk about art as a skill, people pop in with washed out annecdotes about raw talent and how if you don't have it, you wont be good or art is a waste of time, or something along those lines. Here's why i think ideas of talent are incorrect:
