👣The Dance of Death Bundle - 2 tarot-driven solo RPGs, each complementing the other to create a duet
📚bookmark microRPGs - a collection of 5 games to play in a book
🚙TORQ - a post-apocalyptic RPG where the cars drive fast but cooperation is the rule of the wastes
The Dance of Death Bundle is two games displayed together, Venatores and Belluae. Venatores is black print on a white background. The title is in all caps, vertically, down the spine. Its main image is obscured behind the other game, Belluae, a game of becoming something monstrous by Seb Pines (black and white on a black background, title also in all caps, vertical down the spine). The main image is a monster wrapped in shreds of clothing, holding its arms out. A fanned-out collection of five bookmarks. Each is a tiny RPG, each has a different vibe - one looks like a map, one looks minimalist, two are pastel, and the one on top is black with white brush strokes for decoration. Its title is "words unsaid, a revision game for one, a spines rpg" The cover of Torq: Operator manual, rallyraid roleplaying by will jobst. The game is rectangular but oriented horizontally. The title appears in a cream-on-yellow, fat, 70s-inspired font, tipped to imply motion, with the "o" and the "q" extra-round to look like wheels

In the center, an elaborate, black ink illustration of a person at a desk (writing), framed by flowers and wild plants An example from the interior of Hidden in the Margins. On the lefthand page, a woodblock print-style image of a scribe at their desk, framed with grape vines and leaves. "I have some of the ingredients and none of the touch. But those wouldn’t be enough, either. I don’t have the infrastructure: The bower of Saturdays and people who would just appear in them, or me in theirs, while I was mistaken for sweet and bankable."

A strange and narrow passageway proves to be tricky to navigate as you squirm against the rock walls. Will this passageway get named after you in your triumphant conquest of it or in memorial?

Survive your excursion, in Underneath.

The cover of a black and white zine on a green textured paper background. In the background are carabiners, a headlamp, a journal, rope, and a map. The cover of the zine has the title Underneath and a large etching style illustration of a narrow cave chamber. A natural fountain springs up from the rock floor. Statues of dragons and lions and weird dogs all spit water across the chamber into each other's mouths intersecting with the single stream of water erupting from the natural fountain. An open spread of a black and white zine on a green textured paper background. In the background are carabiners, a headlamp, a journal, rope, and a map. Stretch goal three: at 6750, @smolghost.bsky.social comes to write on the project! Seb will be writing an expansion based on caving, which I am so excited about.

Seb is the author of Underneath, a solo game about caving, so I was really happy when they agreed to work on the project.

There is a strange babbling sound echoing through the cavern, at first you thought it was a small running stream, but looking around you find no water and cannot divine the source of the sound. The more you listen, the more it sounds like the cave is speaking to you…

"By blurring the boundaries between what it means to haunt a place and to live in one, [Dwelling] complicates cultural understandings of persistence and belonging, allowing its players to parse the ways in which one’s unique combination of precarious circumstances coalesces into this thing we call “home.”"

The Breakup Gaming Society, hosted by @natewarren.bsky.social is back with the living room installment of their Dwelling actual play. Find this intoxicating actual play, and transcript, over at the Breakup Gaming Society's website: www.breakupgamingsociety.com/blog/dwellin...
A room with a couch and a painting illustrated with heavy aberration and ghosting. The text reads:

I am still on the floor when an arm reaches out from the shadows on the couch end and pats the middle cushion: Come sit by me. I go where I am bidden. I gape at her as she forms, legs tucked in at the end of the couch, hair bound in back, working her cuticles. She could vanish into those for an afternoon, so absolute that I wasn’t sure which one of us had disappeared.
