Happened to me on the everything app! I got put on a blocklist, and then a celebrity with millions of followers ported that one into his own. It turned out a big chunk of the list (ostensibly for people spreading hate speech) was trans and other marginalized people, but the damage was already done.
blocklists might be one of the worst features of this site just because you have to place insurmountable amounts of trust in a random person operating them to not cut you off from entire networks without notice or appeal
really the only advice I can give both new and old users is don’t sub to blocklists, because people use them for revenge and trolling and you’ll end up blocking people you like 💀

YouTube rolled out simultaneous vertical and horizontal streaming to me, but it seems there is no way to crop or change the vertical feed other than a 9:16 rectangle in the middle. Hopefully they let us rearrange stuff soon, it doesn't really work for anything other than single talking head content!
