A lesson from the TikTok Affair should be that bipartisan efforts to preserve U.S. national security are vulnerable to the incoming president getting bought off and switching sides for his own personal and political benefit. Not great!

You can blame Garland if you want to — and I agree that he has faults — but reading through the Smith report on election interference makes one thing clear:
Voter apathy saved Trump from real accountability for the first time in his life.
