Did you know Woodside’s North West Shelf gas export terminal has caused WA wholesale gas and electricity prices to triple?

That’s because in 2020 the WA Government let Woodside start exporting WA’s domestic gas reserves, exposing us to global prices.

Figures out this week show AGL is charging more to households for electricity and gas than it does businesses. If households got the deal businesses did AGL: customers would save on average $840 a year in gas and $957 on electricity - $1,797 a year.
