3/4 And usually great drams and occasionally a Dozen Fresh Eggs - only at a Blaydon Folk Club.
It's a few years since we seen him in person but luckily his music and writing will live on !

He always let us know when he was appearing at the local Folk Clubs and he made an appearance at a SMWS tasting at the Vermont Hotel. There was always good music and craic involved (especially when he appeared at the Bladnoch Distillery under Raymond's ownership ) .

Just waiting for the SWA to start with the old Duty moan , bottles been too expensive because of it , another thing that goes round in circles . Was watching the Bunna 14yo Port finish on Amazon (£120rrp) went down to £70 , then up to £93 then £103 .

2/2 about the same time people realised you could sell 'Bottles' on e-bay (remember them times ?) , This was about the same time as the Feis Ile bottles went bonkers . It seems like everything's gone a full circle again , How many old FI bottles are still sitting on Distillery shelves ? #Whisky

The same thing happened in the late 90's / Early 00's , Laings were selling the OMC / O&R range for what at the time was very cheap prices ( Ardbeg / Brora / PE at something like £75 for 25 year old stuff ) , then the whisky boom took off and so did the prices ..... 1/2 #Whisky
